Review on 🐠 Efficiently Oxygenate Aquariums and Hydroponic Systems with PONDFORSE Air Pump: Adjustable Flow Control, 475GPH Power, 20W 30L/min by Allison Jones

I'm considering a PONDFORSE hydroponic air pump with lever airflow control valve (June 2021 update). It can be used for hydroponic systems. , aquariums, fish markets etc. I am now the main user of four port air pumps. But here's what you need to know about buying one: You need a four-port quiet air pump. You need a powerful four port air pump. You need a way to control the output stream. We are testing different air pumps and this is the second time we are trying the PONDFORSE product as it is a 2021 updated version. I'll talk about that at the end of the review as it makes a huge difference! The device comes with an air pump, a hose to connect the air pump and an outlet. The air pump has an output of 20 watts and produces 30 liters of air per minute. and voltage 120V 60Hz. This is how you get the power! So first, how is the noise level. I will say that this air pump is quieter than my 8w four port air pumps. I was shocked. I thought 20 watts and it gets louder. What is louder now due to the power is the bubbles produced but no problem I can turn the valve slightly to put less power on one of my sponge filters. It's important to note that my air pump sits on a thick foam pad (I do this with all my air pumps) to prevent it from slipping due to vibration. I don't get the outflow dial so I set it to 75% (there is a dial on the power cord to adjust) and one valve requires a lever to be used, but on my larger Revain tank I leave the other three levers in the normal position position and I like the water flow through the tank. Although I have wave generators I don't use them because I grow a lot of live plants to protect a lot of fry so this works great. And the price is...less than $39, which is fantastic considering other 8W air pumps are about the same, or $5-$10 less. But there was a problem with the original version. The original version came with a very good strong pipe (clear pipe). But due to the constant vibration of the pump, the hose fell out almost every day. I literally had to get a metal plug and tighten it around the pipe and metal drain regulator. But even then the vibration was so strong that it came out with the shutter once a week or once every two weeks. Still not perfect. And after five months of use, after daily inspection, left a few hours, returned, and the tube came out, and I lost a large number of fish. I literally had to get a battery powered pump to supplement the combo because I couldn't trust the hose. And just as I was about to update my review of the original Revain I saw that they have upgraded it and replaced the transparent thick tube with a thinner black tube that remains. The hose is much better because it stays on, but it's important to note that since it's not as stiff and thick as the previous hose, it can bend and cut off oxygen. So you have to make sure that the hose is not bent too much. So I laid the tubing flat on the pump toward the other end to keep it from bending. After switching to this updated version I had no issues with the hose slipping off either end and it still holds up. I personally don't think I will ever go back to my 8w air pumps. The PONDFORSE Air Pump for Aquarium and Hydroponic Systems with Lever Valve Airflow Control (updated June 2021) is quieter, gives you more power you can control for each lever output and overall performance, and is not expensive. Using snorkels can have tragic consequences for your fish. This updated 2021 version has a flexible hose that stays in place, you just need to make sure it's not bent. But overall, this is a definite improvement over the original. Five stars! Highly recommended!
