The main application of this flashlight is diving. It has dual O-rings and is engineered to withstand higher pressure underwater environments. That being said, it's the perfect flashlight for emergencies, camping, boating, or any situation where this flashlight might get wet. It features a magnetic switch that is separate from the internal parts so water cannot enter. There are 3 brightness modes and no "tactical" settings, which I really appreciate. Very easy to use. It would also be great for the elderly or disabled as emergency lighting. The XHP35 LED puts out 2000 lumens and shines up to 300m, and compared to my other flashlights it's about right. Simply put, this flashlight is built like a TANK and will serve you well.
