I haven't tried the rotating brushes so can't comment on them or the air filters. However, the bottom roller brushes are rubbish. If you're hearing a weird rubbing noise from the Roomba, it's probably because the bottom roller brushes are spinning on themselves. What I mean is that one side of the roller brush should rotate freely, but the other side should remain fixed to allow the brush to rotate itself when it hits the floor or carpet. They feel solid before installation, but when first started, each brush spins freely on itself. So there was really no cleaning with the bottom brush. Note that only the light green brush did this. Dark green seems normal, but it is light green that comes in contact with the surface. Dark green helps pick up the dirt/dust that light green attracts. So if the glowing green doesn't spin when it hits the ground, all that's left is the suction power of the Roomba itself. I will no longer buy from this company.
