Review on Blue Kreg KMA2800 Crown-Pro Crown Molding Tool by Randy Albright

I'm not sure if this is the safest method of cutting ledges.

When the strips are placed on it, it is difficult to tell if the tool is free from the blade. For inside corners, use the blade to align the beveled edges. On outside corners, the blade rests against the beveled edge of the tool, and many times I had to pull the shape away from the tool just before cutting to see that the beveled edge was in the way of the blade. Unfortunately something went wrong when I was making a cut with my 12" miter saw and both the tool and the bar flew backwards and were eventually damaged by the blade. I'm glad I kept my hands on the outside of the tool and away from the blade so I didn't lose anything but the tool. Aside from my safety issue, another thing I didn't like was the material pads on the saw being new Having to adjust the bed when changing between tools and other forming cuts when the height of the material changes.
