Not a big fan. for hair dryers

I generally like the good old hair dryers from 1875. I was intrigued by them and thought we'd give it a try. While it generally works well and dries hair quickly, I found it to be quite large, a little heavy (bulky/unbalanced) and rather awkward to use near the sink. I would NOT call this dryer compact. I thought the "tangle-free" cable was fine, but it marks an innovation. it reminds me of a larger version of those braided phone charger cords. However, I have never had a problem with most cables unless they are braided. In general, the hair dryer works well. It heats up fairly quickly and has a "cold shot" button (most have). I didn't find it "quiet" or loud. It looks like a hair dryer. WARNING: If I had long hair I would be concerned about it being pulled into this thing. Doesn't the air intake area above have a grille? Today most dryers have switched to a DOUBLE screen/filter process. It has neither. If you have long hair, be careful! The nozzles are also made of plastic and can get hot. so handle with care! For me, value for money is one of the most important factors when it comes to anything. And in this case I'm not sure if the quality and value really justify the price. Maybe I'm missing something, but since most hair dryers cost about a third of that amount, I just don't know if I can recommend it to others. It was packaged in a nice box that would make a lovely gift box. But I believe a third of the cost went into packaging.
