Mount-It Stands are great value speaker stands. The silver and glass versions feature metallic painted aluminum tubing and thick glass tops and bottoms. It would be better if the support tubes were chrome plated or anodized aluminum which is my sole reason for the 4 star rating. The base allows you to use both carpet and hard floor thanks to the included plastic cups that fit over the pointed feet. I use them on carpet and found them to be tip resistant even with the speakers installed. Cutouts in the large tube allow you to manage cords while hiding cords from view. They also come with non-slip glass pads should your speakers require them.
