design error! on cables

The original handle is held on a flare nut (a nut with a washer). The space on the handle it needs to fit is too small to fit under the flare nut. Visually they appear to be the same, but the space is small enough that the union nut will not fit. Must grind now. Paid for an exact match - didn't get it.
