First of all, yes. This is a cheap product made in China (not all Chinese products are cheap) and you should know that. But the main problem is that depending on who your seller is, you may receive the goods in both the picture and the other. They are all WiFi adapters with antennas and higher gain than usual, which will surely improve your WiFi performance, but the actual key may be very different from what is shown in the picture. To test this I ordered two identical ones from different vendors and I have two different USB wireless adapters. The one in the picture (small antenna on the side of the USB dongle, SkyLink logo on the box) performs slightly better. than my laptop's built-in adapter (and this is most likely because I'm using a USB extender and the adapter is better placed than the built-in antenna on the laptop's screen), also the driver disk didn't work at all, The 5 CDROM drives, that I had available caused read errors. Luckily a friend of mine has the same adapter and had better luck with the driver disk. Otherwise, the adapter works fine and I have a stable network connection. The other, with a larger antenna on the USB dongle and unbranded, offers much better reception in the same position as the previous one. It lets me connect to wireless networks that weren't even visible with the previous one. Only time will tell how reliable they are over the long term, but for now they work. Just be careful not to twist the antenna too hard or you will break the device. (Yes, I did mention that they look, feel, and are cheap. But even at a fair price, if they only last a year I'll still buy one.)
