Good for extra security for your luggage when traveling internationally
I mainly use these zip ties to attach zips to my luggage when traveling around the world. That doesn't stop determined people from opening your luggage and stealing things, but it does make your luggage a little less attractive to break into than one that's not guarded at all. I will also use them in hotels, again for extra security. People have told me that stealing is primarily based on opportunity. It's usually a bit harder to get thieves to choose something easier.
