Perfect covers! Over the years full of dogs I have tried many brands of sofa covers. In fact, I recently turned down a number of much, much, *much* more expensive cases that only lasted a year. We have 3 crazy little rescue dogs who have their own dog door and huge fenced yard so there is a lot of dirt and leaves and such. And of course, as soon as they enter (without wiping their paws), they jump onto the furniture. However, the reviews of these cases here on Revain are so good and the price is so attractive that I decided to give it a try. They are also perfect for my office (navy/sand). As soon as I unpacked it, I realized that I had acted wisely. The quality was immediately apparent, as was the size of the valves on the armrests, backrest and front of the chairs. I was also pleased to note that quilting is not traditional threading, instead being heat sealed along the quilting lines. With 2 of my previous slipcovers failing from dog nails and tearing the quilting thread, I was very glad that the Sofa Shield slipcovers did not have this weakness. They're also the perfect size (for a standard sofa and a love seat) and look great! Over time and use I've found them to be very easy to keep in place, although I have a terrier mix that I'm happy to borrow. Tucking the bedspreads under the sofa cushions wouldn't make much of a difference, and even if he touched them, it would only take a few minutes to put them back in place. And the best part is how well they wash and how quickly they dry (I'm sure they would tumble dry really quickly if I needed them quicker). I have ordered another couch sized cover that I will be using to make a seat cushion cover for a leather armchair that doesn't need as much protection as other items. In spring I will be ordering another set in a lighter color as they are very cheap and this is a good option I am looking forward to. Highly recommended!
