Review on 🏗️ Ekena Millwork MIC03X03BI Inside Corner for Moulding Profiles 3 1/8" P x 3 7/8" H - White, 3 1/8"P x 3 1/8"W x 7 3/4"H by James Holker

First off these parts are beautiful when installed correctly and very economical for that vintage look. Far from being a contractor I'm done, I was looking for corner boxes because beveling 45 degrees was beyond my skills in any acceptable way. So these parts are a kind of molded resin. I eventually found that the best way to install them was to pre-drill holes in the corners that were hidden by the adjacent molding, with the holes facing the corner of the ceiling. Then I drilled a hole and the construction screwed the part. Hand hammering them is a recipe for disaster if you don't know what you're doing (again, I clearly don't). Also gluing without something to hold the part in place won't work. I cut out three of these and am trying to figure out how to get them to stay in place. If you have a nailer I think this project will be less difficult. Despite all that, it was still cheaper than the alternative and I would buy it again, flaws and all. Just buy an extra or two and you're good to go.
