I confess that I was intrigued by this Dalstrong promotional knife. According to them, these knives were forged in the fires of Mount Doom by the elves of Rivendale. I needed a chef's knife and at that price and the 30 day return policy, I was ready to try it. When the knife arrived I was amazed at the packaging. premium complete. The knife itself is also convincing. I'm your average home cook at best, but I can say this was a quality blade. The ballpoint pen impresses with its stunning look and even more pleasant feel in the hand. I used it straight away and was very pleased with how the knife cuts through onions, potatoes and chicken breasts with ease and precision. It was really a pleasure to use and I am very happy to use it again. Time will tell how durable it is, but so far the color has won me over.
