It took me a few tries to find my perfect jacket but I found it. It really depends on HOW you want it to sit and what look you're going for. If you can get free shipping and/or order multiple sizes at once and return the size you don't want, this process becomes much easier for you. He added spandex for a little stretch. The first one I ordered was 2X. I read reviews saying to order for a few years and I followed the directions. The 2X was fine, but as usual the arms were too long (I'm 5ft 6in) and it just felt baggy to me. If I was going to use it for layering in cold weather I would leave it at 2X. . But I wanted a spring/fall jacket that I could wear over a t-shirt or a THIN hoodie. I'll be back for a cold weather barn/cargo jacket. I don't care if this jacket is buttoned up because I don't. I mean, yes, I CAN button them up if I'm caught in a storm, but that's not going to be the norm. planning style. I will say I wear 38DDD, I have a belly and 1X is natural with about 2-3 inches between buttons and I can button up if needed. Lola's color is my jam, dark enough but also pale enough, but I mean any of those would be fine. I have front pockets, which a lot of designers have been missing lately, and I have that warm nostalgia I look for in a brand name. So many memories. So much. I have a collection of jackets from my favorite curvy lover like me seller Torrid and I would say this jacket is comparable (1X Levis fits like Torrid 1 and 2X like Torrid 2). Plus a slim figure. Think of this jacket as a "Juniors Plus" if that helps. And good luck creating a beautiful picture! If you're reading this in the off-season, do it NOW because the price will go back up with the first cold :-)
