The knife works great. Always wanted to shell oysters at home but never did because I didn't have the right knife. There were many shell knives that barely worked with shells. Bought some fresh oysters from the fish market and went home with a big smile on my face. At home, when the time came, the oysters came. To be honest, opening the first two was a chore. Broken shells, liquid all over the glove, the smile gone. Then I realized I was peeping and not turning the knife. Starting with number 3, they open almost perfectly every time. I had to learn a bit more, but it wasn't my knife. The gloves are ok, they work, I didn't hurt myself.
