After I lived with my son for a while and didn't have a huge scratching post or his scratching post, I looked for something small here due to lack of space and found it. Bought based on reviews but very happy with it. It's my cats who scratch so as not to damage the furniture and he just loves to rest on it. He looks a bit awkward in the photo, like he won't fit in, but he sleeps there at night and often lounges around during the day. The rags get on the carpet a bit, but it's a good thing it's cardboard and not a leather sofa!
