Works as advertised. If you have a phone or tablet that supports the OTG standard, you can use it to connect a mouse, keyboard, flash drive or even a hard drive to it. Just a few caveats: the connector on this adapter isn't very long, and you most likely won't be able to use it while your phone or tablet is in a case. This may or may not be an issue for you, but it's worth noting. If you plan to use it with an external drive, be aware that such devices will consume quite a bit of power, which will be drained from your phone or tablet battery! And of course, you can't plug in your device while this adapter is plugged in! For anything resembling a long-term install, you should probably look at an external drive enclosure that provides its own power supply, rather than USB-powered ones. Also, it's a Samsung OEM, good quality and works well. .
