I originally ordered 2 large rugs but they were too big for my sink with trash in them so I went back and bought the small size. Make sure you measure your shells with an accurate tape measure. Other buyers have complained about the staining. When I clean the sink, I clean the carpets. I put the mats back and brush both sides, keep the mats clean and don't put garbage on them, put the wet garbage in the trash can or in a plastic bag in the trash can. I never washed a bowl of tomato sauce or mustard down the sink until I removed the rugs. I like the feet on the bottom of the mat because they can easily be brushed along with the top of the mat. Food will NOT get stuck in the mat. Glasses, bowls or pots that you wash by hand flow well into the sink on the mat. My daughter is now planning to buy a sink set.
