At first they were amazing sheets. Very soft and airy. I even ordered a second set a few months later. However, I soon regretted it because after ordering the second set, the first set started rolling, which I hadn't seen before. I can't say exactly how many times the first set was washed before it started pilling - I'd say anywhere from three to six times - that's a safe estimate. I contacted the company with pictures of the pilling but got no response. Maybe my kit was faulty but now that I've seen how bad they wear I wouldn't order again. Pilling has occurred on the lower half of the underside of the leaves when fully open. . . the part that covers our legs. In the past my husband has accused me of having claws but he's being overly dramatic. I keep my toenails in good condition and even include a photo in my defense. (I have some reservations about posting photos of my feet online, but I'll try not to stop there.) So, in conclusion, I'm not a wild animal with unkempt claws, and as such I don't think these sheets should go through so roll for a short time. Thanks for your time.
