I took my car for an oil change and I usually buy a Bosch or Mobil1 branded filter for my local site to install. I keep hearing about Mobil1 filters deteriorating, so I went with K&N. As usual I brought my own oil and filter but the filter didn't fit. I didn't believe it so the technician showed me it really was too big to fit. Not sure if it was a packaging error or if the actual HP7020 filter doesn't fit some TCs? Every website that sells this filter says it "fits". I drive a 2015 automatic and have never had any problems installing any other brand. Unfortunately I had to settle for the filter they had at this place which is the Ecoguard. They didn't charge me for the filter which was nice but be aware that if you drive a 2nd gen tC you might have some issues. I'm sad because the filter seemed to be put together really well and I ended up with a lower level oil filter that I don't need.
