I used to buy cheap bike tools online and they usually ended up somewhere between useless junk or viable tools with a short lifespan. Not this key! I was very surprised when I received it at how well made it was. This is a sturdy wrench that's big enough for a good grip, weighs nearly 10 ounces, and is about 1/8 inch thick (11 gauge). ). The product photos don't show that much, but the ends of the wrench are misaligned so the handle isn't flush with the surface of what you're trying to tighten/loosen. I managed to quickly switch pedals on one of the pedals. my children's bike with this key. I borrowed my old wrench and didn't get it back even though it's been almost two years... But I think I have a new one now so it doesn't matter. My advice if you have something really tight that you need to loosen is to put some penetrating oil in before attempting to unscrew it. Also, if possible, try strengthening the wrench by extending it with a pry bar or metal tubing (an old seat tube can help) so you can apply more force without damaging the tools. I have a feeling this is a good key that should last a long time... Unless I borrow it.
