Filter Seal Failure on Kubota ZD221
Seal failure on Kubota ZD221 resulting in loss of 1 gallon of transmission fluid. When I removed the filter, the rubber grommet broke out of its channel in the filter and caught on the threaded post. I edited this review as much as possible, I overtightened the filter and deformed the rubber seal. It took me a lot of downtime and a huge mess to clean up. While I'm not a fan of paying $30 for a Kubota filter, I'd happily buy one ahead of time.
