Wire gauges are true AWG, not "gauge" which is pretty much a marketing term. Hook up the previous amp to the BOSS Audio kit - it's much better for just a few extra bucks. The cables were easy to pull and made a high-quality impression. I'm using this with an 8" powered subwoofer so it's probably overkill. The RCA cables are high quality and won't tangle even when running alongside the battery cable (try crossing the battery cables at a 90 degree angle to minimize interference). Everything you need to run an amp and speakers in your car (I used this in a 2008 GMC Acadia and had a lot of wires).
