Review on Standard Motor Products AC239 Control by Jim Kriegshauser

It's hard to say who is to blame for a bad review. Bought for a 2002 Ford Taurus SE with a V6 183ci 12v OHV engine. All part numbers indicated the correct part, even with cross references to Ford. The product was delivered well, everything seems ok. We checked all the information on the packaging again with Ford and checked everything. However, the product itself was not that part. Very similar but very wrong. I took a tank of who knows how badly my braking system was damaged and went to NAPA to find out. I can only think of a manufacturer error by packaging the wrong IAC with the correct IAC. My only real advice to anyone buying this part is to visually compare it to the existing component on the car and if anything looks different, return it. I'm not a mechanic, homemade so I learned from that.
