I've been using this for about 2 1/2 months, mostly for crayons. At first I was surprised by its size, but the product description gives the dimensions. It also turned out to be harder than expected. The motor isn't quiet and I'm almost hesitant to use it when people are sleeping nearby, but this sharpener is amazing. I rarely have to hold the pencil for long and it sharpens everything quickly and brilliantly. I make very detailed drawings and this sharpener has enabled me to create art at a higher level by saving my pencils from unnecessary sanding. I thought the sharpener I used before was good, but he basically ate my pens and he ran on battery from time to time. just lost the power. This new sharpener is much better and I highly recommend it.
