Review on Original Magellan Vehicle Roadmate Navigator by Joe Meyer

I bought this for a good price but it doesn't fit my Magellan 1700 Roadmate. I can't understand why not. The part number matches the Magellan part number, but the plug is too narrow and short and will fall out of the socket. Looking at the socket (marked + and - to indicate polarity) I see that the hole is for a larger plug and the positive pin is pushed back in the hole a good half inch or more, but these plugs are plenty shorter and narrower. I had to return the product - Revane was great at it. I can only give it three stars because while I'm sure it's a quality product, for some reason it just doesn't match my partner's Magellan 1700.
