This was a real find (or so I thought). I love the wireless portability and everything came in a nice case. But after not much use (maybe 3-4 hours over a couple of weeks and various electronics projects?) I rubbed the spike with a damp paper towel and a groove formed around the spike. No, I'm not a pro, and yes, I must have had a cold (i.e., hard) piece of ash in the towel beforehand while drying off, which clogged the tip. After a few more uses, the tip bent right at that cut line and snapped off. My main issue here is that I can't find a replacement tip anywhere, at least not one that I'm sure will fit. Wall Lenk's website is of little help - no email address, no links to local dealers, no parts list that I can find. I haven't even seen a way to report a warranty issue, and I'm assuming the tip is out of warranty anyway (because the tips wear out). Yes I could call their support number, it's just that I'm not used to it here in 2013. So now I have a blunt tip, practically useless for finer electronics like soldering connectors on LCD modules etc.
