My daughter and I love these wellies. She wore them to school for several weeks while we experienced our version of the rainy season here in South Florida. She went through heavy puddles and pouring rain and I never had a fall or a leak. These boots are not made for walking, they can be a bit bulky and unwieldy to walk on. The only issue we found is the material fairly easily scratched. My daughter is 9 years old and she digs baby clothes, wears them to school, she could scratch them the first day of wearing them. While this is not a serious problem, it does ruin the look. We chose the Periwinkle color and it's a stunning color, goes well with her school uniform and her casual wear. I highly recommend these boots.
