This knife looks fantastic, I especially love the handle. It comes in an attractive wooden box, making it a great gift. Although the knife comes out of the box, it is light and well weighted. The blade has a beautiful damask pattern that doesn't come into the point. The blade appears to be made of a different metal than the rest of the blade, clamped and fused to the outer blade. I have no way of verifying that the damask pattern is real. The blade is razor sharp, definitely one of the sharpest knives I've ever owned. The blade itself is wide and doesn't fit in my existing knife block. Although I like its length, I would have preferred a less wide knife. Overall I think this knife is worth the money.
