I bought this stand specifically for use in my small home studio in the garage to hold a medium sized softbox that was too big for my standard straight stand, to keep them safe. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much for the price, but the stand is actually pretty solid, as evidenced by its weight - significantly heavier than any of my other stands. The versatility of a rod reflector should not be overestimated. I can direct light to positions and angles that just weren't possible before. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and will most likely be purchasing more. Don't be put off by my 4 star "light weight" rating as that really doesn't apply to this product. On a C-Rack, it goes without saying that they will be heavy, and this one is no exception.
