Review on M POWER CRB7 7 In 1 Router Jig by Scott Hadlock

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Power seems to rule out some of the more useful attachments, knowing you're likely to buy them.

This tool is not bad but for the price it is not worth it. M.Power seems to rule out some of the more useful attachments, knowing you'll likely buy them to get the most out of this device. Some things I don't like are that the plastic base is too flimsy and can introduce some flex when working with a narrow workpiece. The self-centering pins are not height adjustable, making it difficult to work with thin and narrow workpieces unless you have a better equipped workshop. The easy-to-grip ball interferes with the grip of my plunge cutter and prevents me from diving to the desired depth. The guides are also a bit flimsy to accommodate such a large number of routers. The micro regulator worked fine but I couldn't get any work done. Instead I used a piece of Plexiglas and a pry bar. wooden fence and was much more successful and cost about $15 plus an hour or so of my time. I would not recommend this product and would be willing to bet that a brand specific base or a homemade rig will work best for most people. than this device.
