I bought a paddle cover to protect the board on the boat. For the first 90 days I kept the board in the cockpit under a canopy (full of shade). For the past 60 days I've left the suitcase on board, tied to the bow rail. In just 60 days the case deteriorated and ripped when I opened it. I understand the Florida sun can be scorching, but I have inexpensive motorcycle covers made from similar materials that last 12 to 18 months. For such a cover price I would expect a higher quality.
