Review on 🔨 BOSTITCH 2-Inch to 4-Inch Siding Nailer by Ben Demers

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Best investment in trim nails

Live in the cedar tile part of the house and not ready to nail them. I considered securing them with medium sized staples, but stainless steel was hard to come by. I'm glad to know that Bostitch now makes a side nailer instead of hammering in 1-3/4 inch stainless steel ring nails like I've used with a hammer in the past. The device is lightweight, easy to boot and works right out of the box. . Be sure to read the loading instructions as you will need to adjust the bottom of the nail magazine to the size of the nail being used. I'm just starting out and have hammered in about 100 nails with no problems. The pivoting airline connection gives the gun a lot more freedom of movement in tight spaces, which is well worth the extra money.

Pros
  • trim nailer
Cons
  • unreliable
