I like the small size but not as powerful as my old BLACK+DECKER HSV420J42 Cordless 14.4 Lithium 2N-1 Vacuum + Handheld. My Black + Decker has been in use for several years and some of the buttons have had issues. You need to hold part of the vacuum so that the two connectors are pressed firmly together to turn the vacuum on or off. This is the result of wear and tear. So I thought this IRIS cleaner might be a good replacement for my Black + Decker. However, it only cleans dust from animal hair better, very light things. My old Black+Decker picks up a little more. Also, this vacuum cleaner uses vacuum cleaner bags, which I wasn't aware of when making the selection. I love that this vacuum is smaller than my Black + Decker. It's a lot easier to hide in the kitchen where I use it the most. And I don't have to bother turning it on and off like I do with my Black+Decker. How well this works for you I think largely depends on how much stuff you need to carry with you. with this. If you are looking for something similar to how much Swiffer can lift, this IRIS is a good choice. It's light, small and doesn't take up much space at all. And the all-white design makes it less noticeable than other brands that come in bright, regular colors. Check out the Black + Decker line. However, they are a bit bulky and take up a bit more space when trying to find a place to hide.
