I have a big head but this hat suits me! It's a one size fits all so you might think people with small heads would swim in it, but there's a thick elastic band inside that stretches or compresses to accommodate more or less space. Anyway, for me it's perfect! This really is one size fits all. The drawstring keeps it under my chin on a windy day, or if I want to take it off my head I can wear it around my neck, which is nice. The straw material feels comfortable and the inner elastic is made of a very soft fabric that feels good on the forehead. It also has a wide brim so the sun doesn't get in my eyes! All in all it was a great purchase!
