Pros: The rug is very soft and the price is for the size. Light gray with dark gray synthetic hair is a good combination. Bought size 9x6. Cons: Incredibly thin carpet. It's like walking directly on a wooden floor. Smells too. The smell has dissipated but it smells like my sponges after sitting for a while. So plan to air the room or blow it with a fan to speed up air movement and freshen it up. After all, this is a dry clean, not a carpet for lots of stains. The materials contain dyes, so be careful with spills. FYI I bought a 1/2 size rug mat the same size as the rug and am happy with the rug. If this happens on another carpet, that would be fine. If you are walking on a hard floor that you want to sit on, recommend getting a pad. I wish I had used thicker padding but I was afraid it would show under the carpet.
