I bought these cap for my 3 yrs old toddler who has swim class. Two of my nephews had ear infections while they had swim class, so I didn't want to take chance. Also, my girl has very long hair, and I didn't like all the mess I had to deal with afterward. This cap does the job. It blocks most water, so her hair stays dry and blocks water for ears. It is much thicker than cheapo swim caps. Every noun then the side of ear goes up and I have to pull down, but that is very minor. Btw, my toddler has somewhat large head (she usually wears about a year or two up for a hat), this fits perfect on her.
