I bought this ring set because my boyfriend bought one and I thought it was very nice, probably the nicest Asscher cut ring on Revain The stones are well faceted and very shiny. The center stone is true to size, looks very real and vintage. The two rings fit well together and look great together. The presentation box it came in is very cute. But don't expect to wear these rings every day or use them for a wedding set. The metal is marked as sterling silver and according to the description it is rhodium plated. I doubt that's true. Suppose I only wore the main ring as a ring on my right hand, a small ring remained in the box. For ten days the ring left stains on the finger and it got worse and worse, the metal lost its smoothness and became dull. When you put two rings together you can really see this difference in brilliance. The stones are still in perfect condition, but the metal has become rough and has taken on a strange gray colour. I am so disappointed. I understand this is costume jewellery, but at this price I was expecting a real pound sterling. Instead, I got store quality for a dime. I have not abused this ring or exposed it to harsh chemicals. It had the same hand wash and daily wear as any other ring I was wearing at the same time. I don't have a weird allergy to metals and I'm not particularly picky about my jewelry, so this change caught me by surprise. I spoke to a friend of mine who has the same ring and she also reported that the rings on her finger had turned greyish green and she no longer wore them.
