I used to have Vega helmets so I knew what size to order. The finish on this helmet looks great. I like the design scheme and it seems well done. I was expecting it to be glossy with a sheen, but it is actually matte. I think the matte color looks great and I prefer that. In terms of comfort, this helmet is excellent. It has an adjustment option at the back, like a construction or fire brigade helmet. This allows for a more precise final fit to accommodate any other headwear or even when I'm in between haircuts lol. The chin strap is easy to fasten and loosen, even when wearing gloves. Also features a ratchet mechanism to achieve the perfect fit for a headscarf or whatever you wear underneath for warmth. The only thing I don't like is the fold-down visor. I'm just not going to use it, so it's not a problem at all. The fold-down visor doesn't fold down low enough for me to see well. I have a large forehead so this may not be for everyone. I only use the visor as extra protection when it's raining. So I would rather have a clear visor than a tinted one. I'm sure I could get the clear one and replace it, but I want it to only come with the clear one. Besides, it doesn't matter, at least not to me. If you like semi-stylish helmets and support law enforcement, then this is the helmet you should definitely get. I am planning to order another one with a girly color scheme for my beautiful wife.
