My original mirror (2002 Deville) started bleeding so the mirror had to be replaced as the reflection was too distorted. It is possible to remove the original mirror, but on a car this old, the connectors that hold the mirror are fragile and if you break any of them you will be in trouble. This option allows the original mirror to stay in place; They use very strong stickers to stick the new mirror to the existing mirror so no connectors are compromised. I also used (my own) silicone sealant applied between the adhesive stickers to seal out any moisture and ensure an even more secure seal. The process is very simple; Stickers are very durable; The mirror is very clear and high quality. GREAT AND CHEAP OPTION!
