I don't know why the formula has changed and this new formula contains less omega 3 and 6. I'm still awaiting an answer from a certified canine nutritionist as to why they did this. Overall I love this product and buy it regularly. I love that it contains omega, digestive enzymes, probiotics, glucosamine, MSM and green lipped mussels. I always add it to my dog food daily. I give it to my 1 year old Pomeranian for general health and preventative joint support, as well as my large Great Pyrenees breed who has torn her CCL. This supplement, along with a fresh diet, has greatly improved her mobility and she is walking and playing like a puppy again.
