Only tight when bottle isn't open
Lock feature is fine - enough to prevent unauthorized use. However in terms of tightness as stated in the product description for a product that offers any type of liquid tightness. The product was not as advertised. I use on standard wine bottles. So if you decide to purchase, plan on either re-corking the bottle.
