The bars were bent when opened!
My husband and I bought this to keep around our house and waited to unpack until we decided where we needed it. The box itself was in a much larger box lined with thick paper to avoid damaging it in transit. That's why it was so hard to believe that when you first opened the box, many of the rods were completely bent and some almost straight! Now the boxes that should be straight and flush have gaps and are interfering with the boxes below because the pieces holding them apart are bent. Also, the bars holding the crates are snapped off the vertical support beams. So I doubt this product will last as long as it should have had it not been damaged.
