Without a doubt these are the worst taillights I have ever used. While the visibility factor is decent, the battery life (even on the darkest settings) only lasts an hour (if I'm lucky). Most of my trips are over 2 hours so this dies about halfway (or before) each trip. Very disappointing. I actually have two and they work exactly the same, degrade too quickly so I don't think it's coincidence or that I have a lemon in the league. The on/off function is also very confusing at first. Once you get that sorted it makes sense (if you're interested, take your finger off the button as soon as it starts blinking and turns off), but there were some awkward moments at first. I really wish I hadn't bought this. Too bad because I like the shape and the light output, but it doesn't work if it loses light before the end of my trip.
