I wanted something that felt like a bare foot but had enough support to work out on slippery surfaces like parquet or marble floors. I train in boxing and mai tai and while the boxing shoes are great they don't offer much ankle mobility. These shoes offer amazing grip indoors, a bit too much when you need to be really light on your foot when turning. The fit was great, not too tight, not too loose. There was a little separation of stitching and glue between the toes and I tend to twist sharply while doing footwork or twisting in crosses and roundabouts. But nothing too alarming. The shoes are still fine and only used indoors when I go to the gym where there are only slippery surfaces or only shoe rules.
