Review on Sfozstra Cat Litter Scoop Tray by Rebecca Martin

This is the only litter box my cats haven't been able to jump out of. They've been using it for a week now so we'll see if they find anything, but so far so good. The problem with "regular" closed trays is that the rim of the hood curves outward from the box. where it covers the box so when my guys aim for the seam, which they kinda like to do, it goes through the seam and drips onto what I have on the floor. side, so they can't do it. And the top is low enough that it looks like they can't aim for the carry holes on the sides. They haven't even shown up yet, but I don't know if it's because they can't get up or because they're just giving me false hope. (After all, they're cats.) I was afraid they wouldn't use it because it's small—big enough to roll around in, but not big enough to stand on tiptoe with your tail. raised to aim. But it turns out they don't mind. The first day I put it on all three of them used it in place of the one next to the larger hood. (One cat is a slender, leggy 15-pound cat, one is a very chubby but not big-boned 19-pound cat, and one is a tiny, arthritic 6-pound cat of 19 years who can manage to get in and out of, but don't hang your butt over the front opening.) The small litter scoop that comes with the box isn't very strong - my cats seem to make concrete mixers as a side job - so I need a more durable scoop to loosen the occasional lump from the bottom of the box - but my big metal shovels have too long a handle to really maneuver in such a small space. The little scoop that comes with the box is the perfect size to scoop it all out once I unclip it. The hinged lid is also very useful. And the smaller footprint is very nice, especially since the cats don't mind it. There's also less trash on the floor, I don't know why. All in all, this is the best tray I've ever seen. Highly recommended. I will buy 2 more today.
