I thought I'd buy bibs when winter comes. I'm an electrician who has to bend and stretch during the day, sometimes even on the ground. I'm 5ft 4" and 235. I usually wear 1x or 2x depending on who makes it. You could say I'm built like an egg. I used to wear men's overalls, but my crotch was always too big for me. I ordered 2x just to be safe. I was so surprised they just didn't fit in with a lot of space that I could probably reduce. The wearing comfort is unbelievable. Yes, I have short legs, because of my work boots I still ordered the medium length. The knees are reinforced and well set. I've already washed it, but the color stays. I only have one small complaint, the buckles are a bit flimsy for my liking, but they are winners. I have already bought another pair.
