hung them on my fence and loved them at first. They are super bright and work great! We are far from the main road and you can see it perfectly. A bit of a hassle to put them on just because of the length and the way they are packaged, but I was planning on putting them on a spindle. Until the next day. The light was off. The horses got their headlights mixed up and had to put their headlights together. The next day the same. I enjoyed the light for a week until I was outside and dogs were running around, barely hooking it and breaking the wire. I have used other lights outside on the same fence and have NEVER had a problem. I think the problem is that the wire is much thinner and less durable than regular outdoor lights and just doesn't stand up to tampering. If you're planning on putting them somewhere where nothing can get to them then they're great and you'll LOVE them, otherwise you're better off sticking with a stronger wire.
