Review on 🪑 Black Round Memory Foam Chair Pad: Shinnwa Seat Cushion with Lumbar Support Pillow, 16-inch by Elizabeth Smith

This was purchased for a 60lb third grader to upholster an Ikea Snille seat (similar to the white chair in the product images). He sits at his home table and complains that the foam isn't thick enough and flattens out too much. He also complains that it's too hot and sweaty to sit on. He would rather use a sofa cushion. While this is a nice product with an attractive cover, I would argue that it has fundamental drawbacks for long periods of "sitting at the table" due to the use of very low density and non-breathable memory foam. It can also move a lot on smooth seats. Luckily, the Snille's seat is slightly convex and the pillow usually stays in the middle. Suitable for dinner or bar stools for less than 1 hour. If you need a cushion for long periods of sitting at the table or plan to use it with a plastic chair, look for a different core material and a non-slip coating on one side.
