Review on Komene Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair - High Back Desk Chair with Storage Function & Thick Seat Cushion - Adjustable Head & Arm Rests - Executive Computer Desk Chair with Height Adjustment - Task Chair by Tasha Fisher

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent chair and value; a bit small for me

I am 6ft 3 inches tall and weigh about 230 pounds. This chair works fine for me, but the headrest doesn't provide active support (like a headrest in a car, it keeps my neck from stretching too far back, but it's not really "rest"). At my weight, it seemed like it would take forever to increase spring tension enough to control pitch (although I eventually did). A big advantage A feature of this chair is its good lumbar support. It's not really adjustable, but it touches my back in the right place and the tension seems to adjust itself. However, it's not exactly "convenient". This is especially noticeable after sitting for a long time. where you might otherwise experience lower back fatigue and find you don't have it. I've downgraded the Easy to Build rating to 4 stars due to 3 minor complaints. First, I couldn't find the assembly instructions right away (they were hidden in a bag stuffed into a sub-assembly). When I couldn't find it I looked up the part number online and found instructions online. It turned out to be an old chair model with the same part number, but these instructions didn't exactly match the chair I was trying to assemble. I started to worry until I found the paper instructions. Secondly, the printed instructions were rather small print and mediocre illustrations. I'm in my 60's with good (corrected) vision but I've struggled a bit. I worked with the worst instructions and ended up assembling the chair with no problems, but would give it a 2. Third, it is confusing that the screws of 3 or 4 different sizes are not marked as clearly. Also, the manufacturer adds 1 extra screw of each size (presumably to help if you drop one under a sofa or something). It's ok, but I've tried to tell the labels apart in the instructions by counting the number of screws needed to assemble and always got one wrong. Overall I think I'm quite satisfied. If I had bought it from a local office dealer instead of Revain I might be tempted to trade it in (although the chair that was replaced would probably be more expensive). Considering the price, I'd happily keep this one instead of agonizing over a swap.
