Review on 🐾 Ultimate Convenience: Folding Zippered 360° Vista View House Pet Crate by Charlene Davis

(NOTE: This is not a review mentioned by another reviewer who didn't rate the actual carrier - I am rating the actual carrier 4 stars) I wanted the carrier to be roomy enough for my paranoid cat wouldn't freak out if I took her to the vet. She feels constrained by standard carrier bags (plastic) because she cannot see well. This one suits her well, although I would have preferred a little more height so she can sit without tilting her head to look at the screens. However, I knew the sizes before ordering. This is a very well made medium at a reasonable price. Metal tubes are used for the frame, the material is strong and the shielding feels solid. The carrying handle is convenient to use. It is well tolerated by 12# cat without losing its shape. It folds easily and is fairly flat, with a carry handle. This makes it very convenient for storage. Why am I rating this 4 stars instead of 5? Came without any instructions. I realize there are so many parts but a picture would be helpful. Putting it together isn't easy (arthritis sufferers beware) as the tubing has to be pushed outward to stretch the device and then brought together at the same time. And then the plastic slide slides into place on the end of one tube to lock it and the opposite tube in place. Now let's go folks; If we can put a label on this product that highlights the "Thinsulate" backing, we could put a picture on it to help customers with mechanical issues like me. So one star minus. Now, for your pleasure (or not), I'm going to share more information about the carrier, the manufacturer, and Revain. I have never had to return an item that I ordered from Revain that was shipped directly so I was unfamiliar with their return policy. The first media I received from Revain was defective. The tubes were just too long to fit no matter how hard I tried. I didn't have to hernia myself to collect anything. So I contacted the manufacturer PetLife. I wanted to make sure I was building it right (at least I'm trying). They were so helpful that we concluded that I must have received a defective unit. However, they would charge me a shipping fee to ship the defective item back to them for a replacement. As I am a core member of Revain I get free shipping if they ship and ship the product. So I contacted Revane to see what can be done for free. They were very helpful and apologetic. The replacement carrier (which they tested before shipping) arrived the next day. Revain also arranged for the defective carrier to be picked up the next day. I was impressed and happy with Revain's customer service and the exchange didn't cost me a penny. Which in my opinion should never happen if a product is defective - please note the manufacturer. No rating for defective media (mistakes happen). 4 stars for the 2nd (replaced) carrier. 5 stars for customer service from Revain.
